About Proxi
We've been there too.
Proxi was born from firsthand experience with dementia caregiving — the 3am episodes, the impossible choices, the feeling that the system wasn't built for you. Because it wasn't.
When we started mapping the cascade — sleep deprivation feeding depression feeding isolation feeding guilt feeding worse care feeding more sleep deprivation — we realized this isn't burnout. It's a syndrome. And nobody was treating it that way.
We're a team of technologists and caregivers building at the intersection of AI and compassionate care. Our approach is protected by an extensive patent portfolio and informed by clinical research, but it's grounded in something simpler: we know what this syndrome does to families because we've lived inside it.
We're building carefully, validating with real caregivers and clinicians before we scale. If you're in this fight — as a caregiver, a clinician, or someone who believes this problem deserves a better answer — we want to hear from you.

"We're not building a chatbot. We're building the first intervention designed specifically for a syndrome that affects 53 million Americans and has no current treatment."
