Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 2026Proxi.care

Your privacy is fundamental to our mission. Proxi.care is built for people in vulnerable circumstances, and we treat the trust you place in us with the gravity it deserves. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the measures we take to protect it.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

When you sign up for Early Access, submit a contact form, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect your name, email address, and any additional information you voluntarily provide. If you identify yourself as a caregiver, clinician, or other role during sign-up, we collect that designation to tailor your experience.

Usage Analytics

We collect anonymized, aggregated usage data to understand how visitors interact with our site. This may include pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic region. We use privacy-respecting analytics tools that do not build individual user profiles and do not track users across third-party websites.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial information, insurance details, health records, or any protected health information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA. Proxi.care is an informational resource, not a healthcare provider, and we do not process clinical data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To communicate with you about Early Access availability, product updates, and relevant content if you have opted into such communications. To improve the functionality, content, and user experience of proxi.care based on aggregated usage patterns. To respond to inquiries you submit through our contact channels. To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms of service, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Proxi.care, our users, and the public.

We will never use your information for purposes materially different from those described here without providing notice and, where required by law, obtaining your consent.

3. Data Protection

No Selling of Data

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to any third party. This is an absolute policy, not a conditional one.

No Advertising Use

Your information is never used for targeted advertising, remarketing, lookalike audience building, or any advertising purpose whatsoever. We do not run advertising on proxi.care and do not share data with advertising networks.

Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure data storage practices, access controls, and regular security reviews. While no system is completely immune to risk, we are committed to protecting the data entrusted to us with appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

4. Self-Assessment Tools

Proxi.care may offer self-assessment tools designed to help caregivers reflect on their experiences and recognize patterns associated with caregiver stress. These tools are governed by the following privacy commitments:

Anonymous by Design

Self-assessment tools operate entirely on the client side (in your browser). Your responses are not transmitted to our servers, stored in any database, or associated with any user account.

No Server Storage

Assessment inputs, scores, and results exist only in your browser session. When you close the page or navigate away, the data is gone. There is no server-side record of your responses.

No Tracking

We do not track which assessments you take, how you score, or how frequently you use them. We may collect anonymized, aggregated data about general tool usage (e.g., total number of assessments completed site-wide) but never individual-level results.

5. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, email delivery, and site functionality. These providers are selected for their privacy practices and are contractually obligated to process data only as directed by us. Our current third-party service categories include:

Website hosting and content delivery infrastructure. Privacy-respecting web analytics. Email delivery services for Early Access communications. Form processing services for contact submissions.

We do not integrate with social media tracking pixels, advertising platforms, or data brokers. If we add new third-party integrations that materially affect your privacy, we will update this policy accordingly.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access and Portability

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format where technically feasible.

Correction

You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.

Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. We will comply with such requests unless we have a legal obligation to retain the data or a legitimate overriding interest.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of any marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. We will process opt-out requests promptly.

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@proxi.care. We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days, or within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Updates to This Policy

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as an email notification or a prominent notice on our site).

We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information. Your continued use of proxi.care after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
